After a small lunch stop at Twin Rocks Cafe and Forest Gump Point Monument valley was just stunning. I almost ruined the rental car in the valley drive. If lots of sign warn that a road in inaccessible for normal cars better follow the sign.

A World Heritage Site protecting some of the best preserved Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites in the United States.
It contains the highest density of natural arches in the world with over 2 000 natural sandstone arches.
One of the most scenic highways in America, receiving the designation of ‘All American Road’ in 2002. Definitely the most scenic road I drove in America. Open ranches, remote towns and lots of breathtaking scenery. Better than many national parks.
After the quite disappointing Zion national park the Bryce Canyon National Park, a collection of giant natural amphitheaters in southwestern Utah, offered an absolute stunning view of a very unique landscape.
To reach the best part of Zion National Park one has to walk a few hours in a River – ice cold water around a meter deep with some strong currents. I recommend to bring an extra pair of shoes – mine were wet for two days. In total not that exciting and overcrowded. Luckily I found some wildlife when leaving the park.
Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. After I hot day I found free coke, great and cheap burgers and recovered from my losses in Vegas at Hoover Dam Lodge. Highly recommended for a rest after sightseeing.
Great shows – watched KÀ at MGM Grand from Cirque du Soleil – and an exciting city . Casinos are much more interesting from outside than from inside. After some winnings ended with a loss of 20$
One of the hottest places in the world holding countless heat records. It hit a new global record for hottest single month when I drove through. It had 50 degree Celsius when I arrived and dropped at night a little due to a heavy rain storm. Unfortunately lots of roads got flooded and blocked by rocks and I had to camp there – they have free camp sites. Not a place where you want to stay longer but definitely a must see in life. I recommend not to go in summer.
A nice quiet city to have lunch and an amazing collection of lakes.
